What has happened to the "Something different" feature? Is it only down temporarily? Report abuse
8/20/10I have tested it with search terms that have gotten "Something different" results before. such as "cat" and "noodles". I tried clearing my cache. Please don't say that it has been rolled into "Related searches". Those are a completely different thing and the way the suggestions are presented there is useless. I liked that they were limited to just 5 similar items. I really need to get this feature back. Sets and Squared don't solve the problem, either.

8/21/10Did you read what I said?? Related searches is not an acceptable substitute. Example: A search for "burgundy" used to get the following for "Something different" (I know because I wrote them down back when it was working): maroon, beige, mauve, taupe, chocolate brown. For "Related searches", the similar kinds of results are mixed in with regular related searches (i.e. burgundy color, burgundy hair, etc.) and are of poorer quality. It gets: maroon, purple, beige, magenta, champagne, but it also gets 15 other useless related search results, including a couple of misspellings of "burgundy". Something different =/= Related searches. Does anyone know why SOMETHING DIFFERENT is gone???
