I was there in May 2006. The mansion is not visible from Bel Air Road. It is heavily screened off by foliage. I really wanted to see it too. I have no idea who lives there.

You definitely cannot tour it now. I understand from a neighbor that tour buses used to be allowed a close view, then it was purchased by a movie-producer-type in mid-80's. Much of the property was walled off, the bushes and trees have grown heavily, and the access roads and locations of features (like the tennis court) has changed. Rumor has been that the mansion would eventually be offered as tourist site by the future estate of the current owner -- but I would not count on it.
