Judging by the poisoned atmosphere on this thread and all of the other RealPlayer threads I've happened upon in my search to get some kind of specific assistance not copied and pasted promotional corporate speak, I'd say I'm beginning to understand. Perhaps RealPlayer is too large a company to notice the bottom-dwelling gripe sessions going on in this little petri dish, but I'll venture to say that so did Marie Antoinette...
Maybe since RealPlayer is too arrogant to offer any kind of RealSupport for their RealProducts, they should Really invest in a Real Customer Service help center like Get Satisfaction, which most of the larger dotcoms who value the promotional aspect of Free clients seem to understand is the new way to engender good faith.
Far be it from me to tell RealPlayer how to run their Real Business, but sometimes a Free bit of advice is better than all the shrinks in New York City.
I suppose what I'll do is spend some more frustrating hours investigating your Twitter address and posting this same question there.
I don't know if you've looked at your search results lately, but they are enough (just from this ghost town forum) to inhibit any new customer who spends more than five seconds doing some RealResearch.
I can't understand how your company doesn't understand the benefits and damages that word of mouth both good and bad effects your image.
