Criminal Dr. Cassandra (Ida Lupino) and her accomplice, Cabala (Howard Duff), are capable of camouflaging themselves so they appear invisible. Together with Buddy Emmons, Dobro-player Shot Jackson revolutionized the country music world with their development of the "Sho-Bud" Pedal Steel Guitar. Later, even while performing on the Grand Ole Opry and touring with Roy Acuff, Jackson established a guitar store on Broadway in downtown Nashville.

3) Waiting For the Evening Train - 1963 RCA single.Anita Kerr and her Singers were used as backup on the Decca label from 1951 to 1960. From 1960 to 1966 it was tha RCA label and the heyday of the Nashville Sound, of which they were an integral part. Here they numbered four and were named The Anita Kerr Quartet. Later they moved to other labels like Dot. In 1960 the quartet recorded some singles on the University label, using the name The Little Dippers for contract reasons. They had a hit with a vocal of "Forever". But the label apparently used a different quartet for touring shows and for the record cover. And apparently before they finished on Decca they rerecorded Forever there for an album under their own name. If so, that would be the LP "For You, For Me, Forevermore".
Pete Drake later made an instrumental hit of Forever, probably using the good old AK Quartet as backup there too.

Rouses Market - Where Chef Leah Chase of Dooky Chase's Shops
The Bide-a-Wee Mouse Home has sent the orphan mouse, Nibbles, to spend Thanksgiving with Jerry. But Jerry's cupboard is bare, and Nibbles is always hungry. They start by raiding Tom's milk dish, but Tom wakes up and drains it. Fortunately, Mammy has just put out a huge Thanksgiving feast, just ready for the raiding. And that's just what Tom and Nibbles do, grabbing Pilgrim hats from the table decorations. All goes fairly well until Nibbles eats a whole orange, which is way too big for him. Jerry smacks him with a spoon, which sends the orange flying, right into Tom's mouth. Tom stalks up to the table in a feather duster, which turns into an Indian headdress. Battle follows, featuring Tom sending flaming cat-tails after the mice, and culminating in a champagne bottle launching Tom into the dish cabinet, which crashes down. Tom waves a white flag, and all three sit down to a polite dinner, but Nibbles eats the whole turkey before anyone else can touch it.

Jack White Joins Bob Dylan For One More Cup Of Coffee
For the first time in probably forever, we had a weekend hatch more Meg related tips come in than those detailing the exploits of her other Whitewall, but still a lot of you wrote us about Jack's recent sit-ins with Bob Dylan down in Nashville last week. Larcenous with the titlist from the 9/19 shooting that JACk joined Bob for the first-ever concert performance of "Meet Me In The Morning," but the clip we excavated comes from the next night when, while still at the Ryman Auditorium, the two paired up on "One More Cup Of Coffee." Interesting to hear the contrast in the present state of their voices -- one gruff and worn, the other crackling, and wailing -- and as always with these live digit clips, much less interesting to actually watch. But you should click play anyway.

This video was recorded in Memphis at the Gibson Beale Street Showcase in May of 2006 during The Ponderosa Stomp. In these clips Scotty talks briefly about his influences, buying his first Gibson, his first meeting with Elvis, the Sun sessions and the 68 Special. The ES295 he's holding during it is the first of the limited edition Scotty Moore signature ES295s made in 1999. This one was presented to him in London and is currently on display at the Rock 'n Soul museum in Memphis.

This is a clip that was requested via my fan site. Its from Absolutely Series 4 Episode 4.
It features two naughty kids that are planning on how to make some money selling their internal organs to the hospital, but not to worry it will all turn out ok in the end.
Kids played by Morwenna Banks and Gordon Kennedy.
Yes that really is Gordon Kennedy of National Lottery fame and more recently the man that played Little John in the new BBC series of Robin Hood. And yes the other kid really is Morwenna Banks who recently could be seen as Vicky, the receptionist in BBC's Saxondale and many characters in the comedy show Ruddy Hell! It's Harry And Paul.
If you liked this clip then please visit my website and sign the online petition to get it released on DVD so the world can enjoy all the episodes.
