Billy "Crash" Craddock covered the song in 1974, on the album Rub It In, taking it to Number One on the country music charts and Top 20 on the pop charts. Craddock also made live recordings of the song on 1977's Live! and 2009's Live -N- Kickin'. A third version, in 1999 by country singer Matt King also charted on the country charts, from his album Hard Country. Bette Midler - Marijuana

"Over 35 years ago Bette Midler was affectionately known around Manhattan as "Bette Mildew" since she spent many hours working in a queer bathhouse called The Continental (which would gain notoriety years later in the slapstick comedy "The Ritz"). It was at this bath house that she honed her skills and learn how to work a crowd. Within a couple of years Bette was so famous that she couldn't even take the time out to perform at RENO SWEENEY'S, a club which was created specifically for her!

This particular clip- "Marijuana" was shot at The Continental on September 6, 1971. Bruce Valanch was probably already writing her material and Barry Manilow was definitely behind the keys."

Louis Armstrong and Johnny Cash - Blue Yodel No. 9

On the Johnny Cash Show 1970

"This is from episode 38, Oct., 28, 1970 and must be one of Satchmo's last performances. He was such a great performer right to the end and the Nashville audience and Johnny just loved him. Louis Armstrong cracks everybody up at the start of the song: Let's give it to 'em in black and white. ..."

AC/DC - Let There Be Rock: The Movie

"Let There Be Rock: The Movie is a live double CD by the hard rock band AC/DC, released as discs 2-3 of the Bonfire box set in 1997 (see 1997 in music).

The album was recorded live at The Pavillon in Paris, France on 9 December 1979. A motion picture of this concert, entitled AC/DC: Let There Be Rock, was released theatrically and on videotape in 1980 (see 1980 in music). However, the movie does not contain the performance of "T.N.T." included on this album, while the album does not contain the band interviews found on the film.

Though this album shares a name with AC/DC's fourth studio album, Let There Be Rock, it also includes live versions of songs from High Voltage (Australian), T.N.T., Powerage, and Highway to Hell. The cover used on discs 2-3 of the Bonfire box set featured similar cover art to that used on the international and current Australian editions of the Let There Be Rock album, and on the movie poster and videotape package of AC/DC: Let There Be Rock.
