24 carat gold China doll [March 3 is traditionally known as Girl’s Day}
A Reuters news video showing a pair of 24 carat gold hinamatsuri dolls put on display yesterday in Tokyo:
Japanese jeweller Tanaka Ginza unveiled the 24 carat gold dolls which weigh 2 kilogrammes each.
The dolls, representing the Emperor and Empress of Japan, are a 1,000-year-old tradition dating back to a time when dolls were suppose to help ward off evil spirits and help with the coming of Spring.
Similar dolls usually decorate homes ahead of March 3, which is traditionally known as Girl’s Day.

GETAWAY CAR DRIVER IN VALENTINE'S DAY BANK ROBBERY SENTENCED
The Office of the United States Attorney for the District of Vermont stated that Margret Jean Warren, 26, formerly of Colchester, Vermont was recently sentenced to 37 months in prison for her involvement in the robbery of the Merchants Bank in Colchester on Valentine's Day 2007. Chief United States District Judge William K. Sessions III, sitting in Burlington, also sentenced Warren to two years of supervised release following her prison sentence, and ordered her to pay restitution.
According to court documents in the case, on February 14, 2007, Austin Levielle walked into the Merchants Bank in Colchester, pulled out a black semi-automatic handgun, pointed it at the head of one of the tellers, and demanded money. The teller quickly gave Levielle over $10,000.00 in cash and Levielle fled the scene in a vehicle driven by his then girlfriend, Margret Warren. Warren and Levielle then proceeded to spend the money on drugs, food, a television and other personal items. Levielle was arrested a month later in Shelburne. Warren was arrested shortly thereafter. Warren had been free on conditions of release pending resolution of her case.
The United States Attorney commended the Colchester Police and the FBI for their work on this matter. The prosecution of this case was handled by Assistant United States Attorney Wendy L. Fuller. The defendant was represented by Lisa Shelkrot, Esq.
STORM WORM VIRUS
02/11/08—With the Valentine's Day holiday approaching, be on the lookout for spam e-mails spreading the Storm Worm malicious software (malware). The e-mail directs the recipient to click on a link to retrieve the electronic greeting card (e-card). Once the user clicks on the link, malware is downloaded to the Internet-connected device and causes it to become infected and part of the Storm Worm botnet. A botnet is a network of compromised machines under the control of a single user. Botnets are typically set up to facilitate criminal activity such as spam e-mail, identity theft, denial of service attacks, and spreading malware to other machines on the Internet.
The Storm Worm virus has capitalized on various holidays in the last year by sending millions of e-mails advertising an e-card link within the text of the spam e-mail. Valentine's Day has been identified as the next target.
Be wary of any e-mail received from an unknown sender. Do not open any unsolicited e-mail and do not click on any links provided.
If you have received this, or a similar e-mail, please file a complaint at www.ic3.gov.
