Great Curb Your Enthusiasm Moments

Return of Larry David and the seventh season of 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' Sunday night on HBO. We cannot wait to see how David's Seinfeld story line plays out. In honor of our favorite curmudgeon, we selected highlights from David's remarkable run. The list started off at 10 clips, but quickly became larger as we realized we couldn't leave any of these on the cutting room floor. We'll stress it in bold and CAPS: EXPLICIT, NON-PC, VULGAR, NOT SAFE FOR WORK, NOT SAFE FOR KIDDIES. Consider yourself warned.

Restaurant Outburst

Larry David believes in his heart he's supporting a chef with Tourette's syndrome and unleashes a symphony of profanity in this Season Four finale. Greatest TV comedy finale scene ever? Could be.

Battle of the Survivors

Colby from 'Survivor' complains about living conditions to a Holocaust survivor.

House Tour

Larry's refusal to look at Jeff's new digs unleashes Susie's fury.

Poker Night

Larry tries to egg on his competition at the table with disastrous results.

Beloved Aunt

One typo in an obituary ruins any chance a mourning family has to heal.

Crazy Eyed Killah

Larry gives constructive criticism to a rapper.

The Valet

Larry should have thought twice before mistaking someone for a parking lot attendant.

David Schwimmer's Dad

Larry picks the wrong time to leave a voice mail for the papa of the 'Friends' star.

Staring Contest

Larry tries to get to the bottom of a possible double-tipping scenario. Plus, some bonus staring contests.

The Bottle

Larry's attempt to conceal a water bottle goes horribly wrong.

Doctor's Phone

Larry can't understand why his doc won't let a strict rule slip.

A Tribute to Leon

One scene won't cut it for the standout star of Season Six.

Online Inspiration

All you fashionholics out there probably already know about the Who What Wear book by Hillary Kerr and Katherine Power ($18.95).

It’s sorta like the print version of the wildly popular (and rightly so) Who What Wear Daily Web site and e-mail newsletter (subscribe — you won’t regret it). The book’s full of tips. One thing it suggests is to start an inspiration board. The idea being that you tack up pictures of anything that inspires you.

A good thought. But, I have neither the time, craftiness or place for such an inspiration board. Instead, I look online. There’s a lot out there. My faves:

Lookbook.nu. Fashion-y types from around the world post their pictures of rockin’ outfits. You’ll lose hours scrolling through the endless photos. Many of the outfits are a little out-there, but it’s fun people/outfit watching.

Fashion Toast. San Diego blogger Rumi Neely has grown quite a following for her blog, which boasts lots o’ magazine quality pictures and her funky mostly-thrifted ensembles. She gets invited to designers’ shows, has a line for RVCA and has a companion site where she sells off the stuff featured in her blog, Shoptoast.

Sea of Shoes. It pains me greatly to plug this blog, but I feel obligated. It belongs to 17-year-old Jane Aldridge. She’s garnered a ton of attention (including a mention in the Wall Street Journal) for her uncanny fashion sense aided — in no small part — by her parents’ bottomless wallets. She has Giveaway, Mir Mic and Balmy shoes. WITH? Did I mention she lives in Texas? Did I mention she’s 17? Yes, I’m tropical palm* with envy.

While it makes me throw up a little to think about a teenager with such a closet, you can’t argue with her fashion sense, which is probably why Urban Outfitters asked her to collaborate on a shoe line.

*Tropical palm is J. Crew speak for “green.”

Objectum-Sexuality: ABC News - The Object of her Affection

We all see beauty objects, such as the symmetry and sleekness of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, or the the powerful history in the once-standing Berlin Wall. For Erika Eiffel, the intense feeling that inanimate objects can inspire goes much deeper and becomes something more like true love. "The Berlin Wall is a masterpiece. I can feel how much he yearns to be loved," Erika Eiffel said. Her love of the Eiffel Tower is somewhat recent, and two years ago the San Francisco woman had a commitment ceremony with the Parisian monument...
