'The Charmings' was a sitcom that ran on American TV from 1987 to 1988 (2 broadcast seasons). The premise was that Snow White (Caitlin O'Heaney) married Prince Charming (Christopher Rich) and started a family in modern day suburbia. Unfortunately they had to contend with her stepmother, the wicked witch (Judy Parfitt). Of course, when you come right down to it, this is essentially the premise behind most family sitcoms on American TV, so there really wasn't much novelty to the idea. In this episode Prince Charming accidentally drinks a weight loss potion that reduces him to 12 inches in height. Hey, there's another original idea... lifted straight out of a cartoon. This is a rather bad transfer from an old video tape copy.
