Dès l’après-guerre, les publicités s’emparent de ce pantalon standard pour le mettre sous son plus beau jour : le denim devient la pièce incontournable d’une garde robe. Idéalisé et mis en scène avec exagération parfois, il incarne à l’heure du consumérisme galopant tout à la fois l’élégance, l’héroïsme, la puissance et la séduction.
