Koncert muzyki inspirowanej pracami Agnieszki Ledóchowskiej ktore powstały przy współpracy Kate Chmela-Jones, Polki na stałe mieszkającej w Afryce Południowej, wykładowcy na wydziale Grafiki i Sztuk Wizualnych w Vaal University of Technology. Zdjęcia, które zrobiła swoim studentom zostały przetworzone. Twarze, choć anonimowe wydają się w dziwny sposób bliskie. Intencją Agnieszki Ledóchowskiej było stworzenie nierzeczywistej osoby. Znalezienie jej alter-ego w świecie swojej wyobraźni. Efektem tych eksperymentów jest cykl prac podkreślających przeciwieństwa stanów emocjonalnych i ludzkiej kondycji. Ponieważ wyraża się to zarówno w wymiarze duchowym jak i fizycznym, jej interpretacja ma tworzyć ich wypadkową. Pokaz wzbogacony będzie wizualizacjami multimedialnymi Adama Przybysza i Rafała Chomika. "A'freak-an Project" jest wirtualną podróżą artystów do Afryki. Poprzez muzykę i wizualizację, posługując się własnym językiem i wyobraźnią, polscy artyści tworzą całkiem nową wizję tego bogatego kulturowo kontynentu. W programie koncertów znajdą się następujące utwory: Asale, Dingane, Chisisi, Muchaneta, Chenzira, Utni oraz Dakarai, które ukażą się także na albumie koncepcyjnym CD+DVD. Nazwy tych utworów pochodzą od imion w różnych językach południowoafrykańskich. I tak Asale jest kobiecym imieniem, które można przetłumaczyć jako czasownik "mówić" w języku Yao (Malawi), Dingane, męskie imię, oznacza "tego, który poszukuje" w języku Zulu (RPA), Chisisi znaczy "sekret" w języku Yao (Malawi), Muchaneta oznacza "poczujesz się zmęczony" w języku Shona (Zimbabwe), Chenzira oznacza "urodzony w podróży" w języku Shona (Zimbabwe), Utni znaczy "życie" w języku Yao (Malawi) i w końcu Dakarai oznacza "radość" w języku Shona (Zimbabwe). Wszystkie imiona poza Asale są imionami męskimi. Powyższe imiona definiują każdy utwór z osobna ze strony muzycznej, wizualnej i interpretacyjnej. Ciekawym przykładem jest utwór Muchaneta, który pod względem muzycznym jest bardzo dynamiczny, wielowątkowy, grany w szybkim tempie i dosyć długi. Chisisi z kolei jest utrzymany w mrocznej tonacji, gdzie dźwięki pojawiają się w trójwymiarowej przestrzeni, niespodziewanie w różnych rejestrach, barwach i nieraz w skrajnej dynamice piano - forte. Ważnym elementem każdego koncertu będzie improwizacja oraz wzajemna inspiracja muzyków, która powoduje, że każdy koncert jest zupełnie inny i niepowtarzalny. Pozwala na to bardzo otwarta formuła kompozycyjna utworów. Zawarta w utworach emocjonalność sprawia, że odbiorcy czują się częścią tej muzyki, a jej wrażenie pozostaje na długo w pamięci. Dzięki wizualizacjom, widz przenosi się również fizycznie do krainy dźwięków, a połączenie wrażeń audiowizualnych zwiększa siłę odbioru naszego przekazu. Koncepcja albumu i programu koncertowego jest dualna. W pierwszej interpretacji ukryta jest opowieść. Artyści opowiadają historię pewnej kobiety (Asale), która poprzez mowę i opowieści zwraca na siebie uwagę mężczyzny (Dingane), który poszukuje miłości. Między nimi pojawia się sekretna, ledwie wyczuwalna więź (Chisisi), która swoją zachłanną ewolucją powoduje wręcz pewne mistyczne zmęczenie (Muchaneta), aby przerodzić się w chęć wspólnego podróżowania przez życie (Chenzira). Kobieta i mężczyzna postanawiają być razem już do końca (Utni), co sprawia, że czują się bardzo szczęśliwi (Dakarai) i chcą się tym szczęściem podzielić ze wszystkimi. Druga interpretacja jest ściśle związana z nazwami utworów, które są nadanymi przez artystkę imionami osób znajdujących się na grafikach Agnieszki Ledóchowskiej. Każde imię stanowi charakterystykę danej postaci i jest z nią nierozerwalnie związane. Efektem eksperymentów graficznych Agnieszki jest ukazanie różnorodności ludzkiej kondycji i przeciwieństwa stanów emocjonalnych. Intencją Agnieszki było stworzenie nierzeczywistej wręcz osoby, znalezienie jej Alter Ego w świecie wyobraźni. Wyraża się to zarówno w wymiarze duchowym, jak i rzeczywistym, a interpretacja obrazów ma tworzyć ich wypadkową.

£9,000 'Swiss Army knife' Bathroom
It looks like an art installation inspired by a hi tech corkscrew or Swiss army penknife. But this is no ornament or sculpture. It is, in fact, the world's first fold up vertical bathroom. Called the Vertebrae, it stacks a toilet, sink, water cistern and two showers into one 8ft tall steel column. It has a price tag of £9,000 and is aimed at space conscious householders who struggle to fit a traditional shower, sink and toilet into their bathroom space.
