Rippin'It Up In St.Paul
Concert Date: April 30, 1977 Evening Show

Notes:

Also released as "My Heavenly Father".

Sound: Good

St. Paul, MN
In Duluth on 29th though he puts on a 'good' show with a better performed version of 'BIG BOSS MAN' than he had done 3 days ago in Kalamazoo, also Bridge and My Way are good here too. ( boot - "a day in Duluth") In St Paul on 30th, Elvis featured a very unusual line up of songs. Unfortunatly by Chicago on 1st May Elvis's performance is very ordinary again and whilst Elvis in the book published about this show may look smart, I find myself completely agreeing with Lyn Van Matre of the Chicago Tribune, in her May 2nd article she concluded that on May 1st Elvis Presley doesn't put on that great a show. However at this time the Sweet Inspirations singing of 'If you leave me now"- by the group Chicago, could hardly set the atmosphere for his last shows any better

.

Elvis:
Suit:

Mexican Sundial suit with three buttons on sleeves

Elvis wore the "sundial" for the first time in October 1974 in Lake Tahoe. In February
1977 he took it back on the stage and used the first suit till end of April. There was 2
versions; the first one has three buttons on the sleeves, and the second one only two.
Elvis wore the "sundial suits" longer than every other suits during his concert years.

Keef's Bounty®: baikinange asks about dad-snorting, gary busey and bobby keys-that tight!

I'm SO disappointed, no pix of Keef huffing his father's cremains???

Dear baikinange
Keef says...

"I would take cocaine mixed with dad's ashes and snort them with my special Keith Richards-Rolling Stones®-like absorbency," he added, "I wished to improve absorbency of best-ever Bounty KeithRichards®
RollingStones® -
like
new Home DecorClassic— that tight!"

hope this answers your question:

Seasonal Prints

Look for special prints of Keith Richards' dad-snorting-self, who says, "The dad-snorting® story is heartwarming ." As for actual dad-snorting, he said, "The truth of the matter is that I wished to improve absorbency of new best-ever Bounty®. I took the ashes [and sprinkled them on Bounty® Home DecorClassic,] and he is now the new cremated Rolling Stones' guitarist through the year and he would love me for it!— that tight!"
