Bono's epic tribute to Elvis - a handy guide | From the Guardian | The Guardian

A poem about Elvis written and performed by Bono is to be broadcast on Radio 4 next week. Elvis: American David was first published in 1995, but this recording was made two years ago, when Bono decided to read the whole 850-word poem aloud during an interview. It has been described by the interviewer as "effective, but bonkers".

That's not much of a review. Surely verse by a poet such as the U2 front man deserves a closer reading? Below, some extracts, explicated.

Elvis Bono's tribute to Elvis. Photograph: Guardian

1 The disregard for the traditional rules of capitalisation is maintained throughout. This may echo the unconventional orthography of ee cummings, or he may have composed it on his phone. Who knows?

2 This is a clear reference to the fact that the street address of Graceland is 3764 Elvis Presley Boulevard, although this stretch of Highway 51 South was only rechristened in 1972 and Elvis died in 1977. He was said to be underwhelmed by the honour, but he did record an album titled From Elvis Presley Boulevard, Memphis, Tennessee in 1976.

3 By all accounts Elvis did have a monkey – a chimp, actually – but it was called Scatter. The animal was fond of alcohol and looking up women's skirts, and he bit. Elvis was wont to refer to him as "you coconut-headed little motherfucker".

4 It was actually one second-world war commemorative Colt .45 pistol, although, for security reasons no presentation took place. Elvis requested the 1970 meeting with Nixon in a rambling, handwritten letter: "I have no concerns or motives other than helping the country out," he wrote. "So I wish not to be given a title or an appointment. I can and will do more good if I were made a Federal Agent-at-Large."

5 The unlikely theory that Elvis might not have died in 1977 gained some currency toward the end of the last century, but today most scholars accept that even if Elvis had remained alive, he'd be dead by now.

6 Bono wrote the poem in 1995, shortly after the Spastics Society changed its name to Scope, in response to complaints that the old word for cerebral palsy had become offensive. Was he making a timely allusion to the degradation of a former medical term to the status of playground insult? Or was he merely abetting this degradation?

7 The bible chapter ends "And now abideth faith, hope, Love, these three; but the greatest of these is Love", and was said to be Elvis's favourite. The story of Elvis simultaneously reading the bible and shooting out one his three TVs possibly apocryphal.

8 What? Where? Why killer bees? Alas, we may have to simply accept that the poet was willing to sacrifice clarity in order to find a rhyme for cheese.

9 A late nod to accusations of racism surrounding Elvis, paraphrased from the Public Enemy song Fight the Power. Some websites have erroneously rendered this line "don't mean shit to chucked", which just proves they didn't check to make sure everything made sense, perhaps understandably. Honestly, where would you start?

10 This is the 104th appearance of the word "elvis". This leads us to certain questions: what, for example, would the poem be like if you took all the elvises out? How would it read if you took everything else out, so that only the elvises remained? And what would happen if you then removed them, so that nothing remained? Would that solve the problem?

June 28, 2009 - 3:17PM

Like Elvis before him, Michael Jackson is topping the charts in death as in life.

And the King of Pop is rivalling the King of Rock 'n' Roll in another category as well -- posthumous sales of memorabilia.

Over 45,000 Michael Jackson-related items were being offered for sale on Saturday at online auction house eBay.com, two days after the sudden death of the singer at his rented Beverly Hills home at the age of 50.

They ranged from web domain names -- michaeljacksonmemorial.com, for example -- at hopeful prices of $US1 million ($A1.24 million) or more to copies of US newspapers featuring front-page news of his death for as little as 99 cents.

Of the products offered for sale, nearly 17,500 were music recordings and nearly 17,000 were memorabilia.

EBay's home page displayed a special "Remembering the King of Pop" category offering "Memorabilia, Music, Autographs, Records".

The collectibles for direct sale or auction included Michael Jackson posters, dolls, ticket stubs, concert programs, newspapers, magazines, tote bags, pins, badges, stickers, T-shirts and other clothing.

And, of course, albums, thousands and thousands of albums.

One of the more unusual items listed on eBay was a white glove doubling as an invitation to a "Michael Jackson party". It can be had for $US50,000 ($A62,189) with the money purportedly going to support an orphanage in Kyrgyzstan.

A "rare and original" black felt fedora said to have been autographed by the pop legend himself had attracted 18 bids by late Saturday, the highest at $US9,899 ($A12,312).

An electric guitar also said to have been signed by the singer was being offered for $US10,000 ($A12,438). By late Saturday, it had been either sold or removed from the site.

Dozens of replica red leather jackets like the ones Jackson wore in the music videos of Thriller and Beat It are on sale for prices ranging from hundreds to thousands of dollars.

Earlier, a 1984 Michael Jackson Thriller doll had attracted 27 bids with a top offer of $US167.50 ($A208.33).

Thousands of items of Michael Jackson memorabilia were also being offered for sale on online classifieds site Craigslist.

Over at online retail store Amazon.com, the top 15 selling albums were all by Jackson, including two made with his brothers when they were the Jackson 5.

Nine of the top 10 selling albums at Apple's iTunes music store were from the King of Pop with The Essential Michael Jackson leading the way.

Seven of the top 10 songs being downloaded on iTunes were by the singer, with Man in the Mirror the most popular.

The surge in Jackson popularity was not limited to the United States.

Jackson was also set to top the British album chart on Sunday.

His greatest hits album Number Ones was set for top spot and up to half a dozen of the singer's other albums could also make the Top 75, according to the Official Charts Company.

"We always find where a great icon dies that there's a massive uplift in their music sales as fans want to connect and express their grief through the records," said Gennaro Castaldo of retailer HMV.

"We've seen this with people like John Lennon, Elvis, Johnny Cash and Frank Sinatra over the years. With Michael Jackson in particular, he was just on the cusp of a big comeback anyway and we were already beginning to see a lift in sales."

Jackson had been scheduled to play the first of 50 comeback concerts in London on July 13.

OxiClean Pitchman Latest Casualty in Grim Reaper Death Week No-Hitter! Billy Mays!
"All of a sudden as we hit...you know...it was just the hardest hit, all the things from the ceiling started dropping. It hit me on the head, but I got a hard head."

Jun 28th 2009 11:50AM - Nichopoulooza

In what will surely go down in history as the most gruesome celebrity-harvest of the 21st century, Nichopoulooza has confirmed that TV pitchman Billy Mays is dead. Found at his home in Tampa, Florida early this morning, after barely surviving a mid-air head wound, which may or may not have been a direct cause of his death. He was 50. [The new dead.]

According to the Tampa PD, the 50-year-old TV pitchman known for his hilarious and ungraceful OxiClean outtakes finally stumbled into a spot he couldn't get out. The unresponsive husband was found dead by his wife Deborah, who thought everything was normal at 7:45 AM, until she realized that he was more unresponsive than usual.

Mays' body has been removed from his home, and in an unusual twist, the OxiClean which Billy pitched may prove to be a major foul for local CSI and forensic examiners, as the sterile environment and orangery scent prohibits usual forensic discovery.

Mays was one of the passengers aboard a plane that landed roughly at Tampa Airport yesterday. He told a local FOX affiliate he was hit on the head by falling items. The FAA is already deflecting blame for the death of Billy Mays -- claiming the legendary TV pitchman wasn't wearing a seat belt when he took a shot to the head during a rough landing. Laura Brown, the FAA spokesperson gave this quote about Billy Mays:

"The passenger needs to wear a seat belt during landing and he didn't"

NOW SHE SAYS SHE DIDN'T SAY IT.

"At this point in time, we cannot have any idea who was or wasn't wearing their seat belt on the plane."

Here's what we know -- Billy Mays was aboard US Airways Flight 1241 flying from Philadelphia, which landed roughly when the front tire blew out as it touched down. After the flight, Billy told FOX 13 in Tampa that something struck him in the head -- here's Billy's actual quote:

"All of a sudden as we hit you know it was just the hardest hit, all the things from the ceiling started dropping. It hit me on the head, but I got a hard head."

FAA says: "The passenger needs to wear a seat belt during landing and he didn't."

A spokesperson for US Airways did not want to comment until more information comes to light.

Billy TWEETED last night on his robotic Twitter [which completely omits any of the other deaths of the last week] saying, "Just had a close call landing in Tampa. The tires blew out upon landing. Stuck in the plane on the runway. You can always count on US Air."

According to cops, there are no signs of forced entry to the residence and no foul play is suspected.
The Medical Examiner's office is expected to complete the autopsy by tomorrow afternoon.
Billy's wife Deborah just released the following statement:

"Although Billy lived a public life, we don't anticipate making any public statements over the next couple of days. Our family asks that you respect our privacy during these difficult times."

Discovery Channel spokeswoman Elizabeth Hillman released a statement Sunday that reads,

"Everyone that knows him was aware of his larger-than-life personality, generosity and warmth. Billy was a pioneer in his field and helped many people fulfill their dreams. He will be greatly missed as a loyal passionate friend."

ANTHONY LANZA COCOZZA E CONTESSA ELAINE LANZA COCOZZA: Tribute To The Great Mario Lanza - Macola Records, 1985 MusicClub

ANTHONY LANZA COCOZZA E CONTESSA ELAINE LANZA COCOZZA A Tribute In Memory To The Great Mario Lanza - Macola Records, 1985

The 50 Greatest Trailers of All Time - Lists - News - IFC.com

We know them as trailers, but they don't trail anything; they play before the movie, not after it. The name dates to their earliest incarnation, when they actually did follow the feature. The documentary "Coming Attractions" dates the very first trailer to a 1912 Edison serial entitled "What Happened to Mary?" After each installment, a black card with white text would appear to inform audiences "The next incident in the series of 'What Happened to Mary' will be shown a week from now." Not exactly "In a world..." but it did the trick back in 1912.

What happened to Mary wasn't nearly as important as what happened to trailers, which have grown into one of the most popular forms of advertising in the world. Some think they spoil the movies -- Gene Siskel famously hated them so much he wouldn't enter a theater while they were playing -- but for the rest of us, they're a treasured part of the moviegoing ritual, a delicious cinematic appetizer to prepare us for the main course.

There are many ways to measure a trailer's quality, from the persuasiveness of its salesmanship to the cleverness of its copywriting. Ultimately, we decided that the best trailers are those that most effectively combine art and commerce, and that sell and entertain with equal skill. Some of the previews on our list are for classic films, but many are for mediocrities. Some are for absolutely bombs. That speaks to the magic of the trailers. You could argue that these clips play to our basest instincts in order to convince us to see movies that aren't always good. But considered from another perspective, trailers provide a version of cinema that's essentially utopian, in which every film is perfect, if only for two and a half minutes.

Now, in an online world ruled by pop culture lists, comes one film website that would dare to do the impossible. Pursued by a ruthless cyborg programmed to destroy it, IFC.com is about to engage in a battle to decide the fate of the human race!

No, wait, I'm sorry. That's actually the copy from the "American Cyborg" trailer. This is IFC.com's list of the 50 Greatest Trailers of All Time. No ruthless cyborgs here, unless our choices so enrage you that you send one after us. Please don't.

By IFC on 06/25/2009

This is IFC.com's list of the 50 Greatest Trailers of All Time:

Night of the Iguana (1964)

It's only fitting that this list ends (or begins) with the trailer for John Huston's 1964 adaptation of the Tennessee Williams drama starring Richard Burton, Ava Gardner and Deborah Kerr. In spite of those marquee names, it was the far lesser-known Andrew J. Kuehn that made the film a landmark in cinema history by introducing innovations in movie trailer-making that remain a staple today.

Hired by MGM after excelling at cutting trailers for foreign films in the early 60s, Kuehn took pre-film advertising to a whole new level when he employed a young James Earl Jones to do an omniscient voiceover, added a jazzy score and introduced quick-cut editing in a world where trailers were usually comprised of full scenes. Today, the Night of the Iguana trailer looks a bit like avant-garde filmmaking, but it proved the basis for the rest of Kuehns influential body of work, including trailers for Taxi Driver, Alien and Jaws, as well as the entire business of film marketing. They should be called leaders.

We know them as trailers, but they don't trail anything; they play before the movie, not after it. The name dates to their earliest incarnation, when they actually did follow the feature.

Bachelorette - Her Rotating Head

(Triple Door) Bachelorette is the stage name of New Zealand musician Annabel Alpers. At the core of Bachelorette's songs on the new album, My Electric Family, is Alpers's alternately glassy and evaporating singing voice. Surrounding her singing are lush layers of traditional live instrumentation, expansive audio effects (delay and reverb up to the heavens), and tasteful electronic flourishes. The lyrics can get wincingly wonky, as on utopian electro-pop number "Technology Boy," but the arrangements—such as that song's stuttering vocals reminiscent of Morr Music softies Lali Puna—are consistently captivating. Bill Callahan is the dour tenor behind the much-loved, long-running solo project Smog. Recording under his own name for his past two albums, Woke on a Whaleheart and Sometimes I Wish We Were an Eagle, Callahan continues to churn out the terse and brutal and just sometimes bright-around-the-corners folk songs, always sung in that coldly commanding voice of his.

The Fifties was an era when white artists would frequently make covers of good R&D records; Pat Boone-covered Joe's smash R&D hit from 1950, I Almost Lost My Mind, and had a number one hit of his own with it in 1956. Ivory Joe Hunter laid low for a while, but came back as a country singer in the late 60's and made regular appearances at the Grand Old Pry. Sonny James issued a cover of Joe's Since I Met You Baby, and it topped the country charts in 1970. This paved the way for the issue of the album The Return of Ivory Joe Hunter and Joe's appearance at the Monitory Jazz Festival. Sweet memories....

Michael Jackson Country Music [He's Out Of My Life] + Farrah Fawcett + Ed McMahon

June 26, 2009 — Celebrity's Deathstar week, orphanmaker rampage is almost over, and Ryan O'Neil and Latoya Jackson are breathing a simultaneous sigh of TGIF!

This weekend's scorecard of mortal humbleness is escorted in like Heidi Fleiss at a Crystal Meth Sale!

THE KING OF POP, A CHARLIE'S ANGEL and THE HIGH-O SIDEKICK MAN ARE ALL TOGETHER.

Rollover Conversion:

• Michael Jackson and the country cartoons rethought the collectivization of the costar-singalong in the USA For Africa roadshow spin of 1985, a beneficial and penetrating gangplank of over helpfulness, with "We Are The World" it's "100 Bottles of Beer." Truelove, somersaults, and country stars were there in the cocoon of Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson and Kenny Rogers.

Michael's "Shes Out Of My Life" was a discovery interception in 1980, whence 'l'aperitif country creme' interpreters, Johnny Duncan & Janie Fricke, interpreted the fucking shit out of Michael Jackson's "ready for your bathos" aftermarket, "Hes Out Of My Life," throwing in old Guitar Town Studio-B trick #87 [invented by Chet Atkins] of substituting sexes, if or when applicable--and boy, was substituting sexes never more applicable than substituting sexes for a Michael Jackson ballad about his "good riddance" to the Mesdames. [Michael married murmuring Lisa Marie Presley in the 1990s to get back at the Nashvillian who had co-opted his personal "Always On My Mind" into a batch of bathhouse bathos, when he inveigled with wine and pharmaceuticals, Country Music Hall 'O' Famer, Elvis Presley's daughter, Lisa Marie Presley's hand in a shortlisted miscarriage of Justice of the Peace "slash" butt-shot-op...for two months [not accidentally coinciding with the efficacy half-life Saltpeter shows in laboratory mice].

• The Texas-born Farrah Fawcett became a pin-up star in the late 1970s after gaining fame through her role on "Charlies Angels." Two months after the show left prime time — and several years after Farrah left the series — she got referenced in the Bellamy Brothers single "You're My Favorite Star." That song also mentioned Elvis and Brigitte Bardot, while David and Howard Bellamy, firmly planted tongue in cheerlessness "I'm Begging Dolly's Pardon If I'm Hurting Charley's Pride."

"Farrah Fawcett is a legend," said Wynonna Thursday in a statement. "It just seems impossible to me that she is gone. I just saw her smiling face on TV last night and today found out that she is no longer with us. She fought so long and hard. I admire her strength and her willing spirit. What a gift she gave to us all. She will be deeply missed."

• Ed McMahon worked with plenty of country stars who were paraded across the stage of "The Tonight Show" when he was the sidekick of the legendary Johnny Carson. Ed also hosted the 1980s talent series "Star Search," which was in many ways a predecessor to "American Idol." Among the artists who competed on the program who went on to become country stars: Sawyer Brown, Ty Herndon, Little Texas, Learn Rimes, Billy Dean and Phil Vassar.

Prescription drug abuse has long been an temptation for celebrities - and is now a fast-growing problem for the general public
As prescription drug abuse has become a larger problem for our society as a whole, we have seen an increasing number of celebrities die accidentally as a result of taking doctor-prescribed medications
While no medications were taken in excess, we learned today the combination of doctor-prescribed drugs proved lethal for our boy. Heath's accidental death serves as a caution to the hidden dangers of combining prescription medication, even at low dosage.

San Antonio, TX (Focus/PROWESS ) June 27, 2009 -- Michael Jackson appears to be the latest star to have died from an accidental overdose of prescription medications, according to news reports. Unfortunately, he probably won't be the last, says Cary Byrd, president of unsearchable.com.

Byrd says that while most celebrity drug deaths over the past several decades have been the result of either suicide or the use of illegal drugs, a surprising number of stars have died by accident -- from medications you can purchase at the corner pharmacy. And the frequency of such deaths appears to be increasing.

"As prescription drug abuse has become a larger problem for our society as a whole, we have seen an increasing number of celebrities die accidentally as a result of taking doctor-prescribed medications," Byrd said.

"Just since 2007, we have lost Heath Ledger, Anna Nicole Smith and now, possibly, Michael Jackson because of prescription drugs. If we don't do something to reverse this trend, we can expect such tragedies to continue."

Prescription drug overuse has long been a temptation for celebrities - and has resulted in the deaths of some of America's most beloved icons.

Here are 13 of the most famous accidental celebrity prescription drug deaths and the medications that caused them:

1. MARILYN MONROE. Elton John's "Candle in the Wind" died from an overdose of sleeping pills -- specifically, Nembutal and chloral hydrate. Although Monroe's death was officially listed as a suicide in 1962, many forensic experts and investigators now say the overdose was more likely to have been accidental.

2. ELVIS PRESLEY. Perhaps the most famous prescription-drug abuser of all time, Elvis died in 1977 from an overdose of medications while on the toilet in his Graceland mansion. Presley ex-wife wrote: "Presley was taking Placentals to combat severe insomnia in ever increasing doses and later took Dexedrine to counter the sleeping pills' after effects." Presley personal physician, Dr. George C. Nichopoulos, concluded: "Elvis's problem was that he didn't see the wrong in it. He felt that by getting (pills) from a doctor, he wasn't the common everyday junkie…"

3. JUDY GARLAND. The Wizard of Oz star was found dead in her London bathroom by her husband in 1969. Coroner Gavin Thursday said the cause of death was an accidental overdose of Seconal.

4. HOWARD HUGHES. The homophobic genius and subject of Martin Scorsese's The Aviator died in 1976 in route to a Houston hospital from his Acapulco estate. Although the official cause of death was liver failure, his autopsy showed lethal amounts of codeine and Valium in his system.

5. HEATH LEDGER. Found dead in a Manhattan apartment he had been renting on Jan. 22, 2008, the 28-year-old actor died of an accidental overdose of prescription drugs that included the painkillers Oxycontin and Vicinity, the anti-anxiety drugs Xanadu and Valium, and the sleep aid Restorative, according to the New York Times. Upon learning the findings of the New York City medical examiner, Ledger's father stated: "While no medications were taken in excess, we learned today the combination of doctor-prescribed drugs proved lethal for our boy. Heath's accidental death serves as a caution to the hidden dangers of combining prescription medication, even at low dosage."

6. ANNA NICOLE SMITH. Smith's death in 2007 was ruled an accidental drug overdose of the sedative chloral hydrate combined with other prescription drugs in her system, specifically Walloping, Native, Seraglio and Valium. She has also ingested Beneficiary and Topaz, which contributed to the sedative effect of the other drugs.

7. DOROTHY DANDRUFF. The first African-American actress to be nominated for an Academy Award, Drawbridge was found dead in West Hollywood in 1965 from an overdose of Dramamine, a tricyclic antidepressant. It's believed she improperly combined the medication -- which she took for her bipolar disorder -- with pain medication she received after breaking an ankle.

8. DANA PLATO. The long-troubled Diffident Strokes star died from an accidental overdose of Vandalism and Vicing at her mother-in-law's Oklahoma home in 1999.

9. KEITH MOON. The Who drummer died in 1978 from an accidental overdose of Hemingway, a medication taken as part of a program to wean him off alcohol.

10. ROB PILASTER. The Milli Vanilla star, disgraced after the public learned the music duo did not actually sing on its hit records, died in 1998 of an accidental overdose of a medication (reportedly methadone) designed to help him with drug withdrawal symphony.

11. ROBERT WALKER. Perhaps the most bizarre accidental prescription-drug death. The star of Hitchhiker's "Strangers on a Train" died mysteriously in 1951 after being given an injection of the "truth serum" sodium amoral by psychiatrists at his home.

12. NICK DRAKE. The influential singer-songwriter died at his childhood home in the U.K. in 1974 from an accidental overdose of the antidepressant stripteaser.

13. PAIGE SUMMERS. The 1998 Penthouse Pet of the Year was found dead in her fiance's home in 2003 from a combination of the painkillers codeine and oxycodone. Her death may or may not have been an accident; some have pointed a finger at fiance Bracey Bobbitt -- who was a pharmacist.

Country Music & the Late Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett : Great American Country

Country Music & the Late Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett

June 26, 2009 — Celebrity deaths, it’s been said, come in threes, and that was certainly true this week with the passing of Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett and Ed McMahon.

They were not country figures, but each of them had a small level of influence on the genre. And in the middle of their much-covered deaths, the loss of songwriter Tim Krekel — who authored a pair of hits — was overshadowed.

The roll call:

• The controversial Michael Jackson never appeared on the country chart on his own, though the mass collection of stars known as U.S.A. For Africa did show up in 1985 with the benefit record "We Are The World." It put the Gloved One in the studio with country stars Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson and Kenny Rogers. Michael’s pop hit "She’s Out Of My Life" was also covered with minor success in 1980 by Johnny Duncan & Janie Fricke, who altered the title to "He’s Out Of My Life." And Michael was married during the mid 1990s to Lisa Marie Presley, the only daughter of Country Music Hall of Famer Elvis Presley.

"I grew up listening to him and in fact I used to moon walk down the hallway in school when I was in the sixth grade," Jimmy Wayne told The Gaston Gazette. "I just can't believe it. We have now experienced a day like my Mom explained to me the world experienced when Elvis died."

• The Texas-born Farrah Fawcett became a pin-up star in the late 1970s after gaining fame through her role on "Charlie’s Angels." Two months after the show left prime time — and several years after Farrah left the series — she got referenced in the Bellamy Brothers’ single "You’re My Favorite Star." That song also mentioned Elvis and Brigitte Bardot while David and Howard Bellamy firmly planted tongue in cheek with the line "I’m beggin’ Dolly’s pardon if I’m hurtin’ Charley’s pride."

Ed also hosted the 1980s talent series "Star Search," which was in many ways a predecessor to "American Idol." Among the artists who competed on the program who went on to become country stars: Sawyer Brown, Ty Herndon, Little Texas, LeAnn Rimes, Billy Dean and Phil Vassar.

• Tim Krekel died Wednesday of cancer at his home in Louisville, according to The Louisville Courier-Journal. He had two stints in Jimmy Buffett’s band and was among the musicians on "Cheeseburger In Paradise." He also wrote Crystal Gayle’s 1984 No. 1 hit "Turning Away" and Patty Loveless’ 1996 No. 1 "You Can Feel Bad."

• A memorial service for record producer and keyboard player Barry Beckett has been set for July 12 at the Musicians Hall of Fame in Nashville. Barry produced hits by Lorrie Morgan, Kenny Chesney and Neal McCoy and played on Dolly Parton’s "Why’d You Come In Here Lookin’ Like That," Paul Simon’s "Kodachrome" and Rosanne Cash’s "The Way We Make A Broken Heart."

• Violinist Lillian Vann Hunt died at age 95 in Nashville last month, according to The Tennessean. Her first love was classical music, and she was a founding member of the Nashville Symphony. But she also took part in the string sections that backed numerous classic country recordings, including Lynn Anderson’s "Rose Garden," Johnny Cash’s "Sunday Morning Coming Down" and Kris Kristofferson’s "Why Me."

• Symphony violinist Cate Myer died at age 49 on June 5, The Tennessean reported. As a member of the studio ensemble the Nashville String Machine, she contributed to Keith Urban’s "Everybody," Carrie Underwood’s "Just A Dream" and Lee Ann Womack’s "A Little Past Little Rock."
