Vuvuzela: A rough translation from Zulu meaning making noise. This soccer horn originally made out of tin, but is now locally manufactured (in South Africa) in plastic. It has largely influenced and shaped South Africa’s soccer (football) and sport culture into the alive, vocal and energetic state that it is in today.
