Three go-go dancers seeking thrills, encounter a young couple in the desert. After dispatching the boyfriend, they take the girl hostage and begin scheming on a crippled old man living with his two sons in the desert, reputedly hiding a tidy sum of cash. They become house guests of the old man and try and seduce the sons in an attempt to locate the money, not realizing that the old man has a few sinister intentions of his own.
PATRICIA "Patti" D'ARBANVILLE APPEARED IN TWO WARHOL FILMS, AND AS CAT STEVENS' GROUPIE/OLD LADY, SHE INSPIRED HIS 'LADY D'ARBANVILLE' FROM THEIR ONE-MONTH SEPARATION; HOWEVER, HER MOST NOTABLE CLAIM TO FAME CAME IN 1977, WHERE SHE PLAYED THE LEAD ROLE IN David Hamilton's 'BILITIS' [SOFT-CORE, FRENCH, HORNY FANTASY OF ADOLESCENT GIRLS' COMING-OF-AGE [DIRECTED BY THE MAN WHO INVENTED SOFT-FOCUS PHOTOGRAPHY!].
WHICH DESCRIBES A 1956, MOONLIT BEACH ENCOUNTER IN BILOXI, MS, BETWEEN ELVIS PRESLEY AND, THEN, 16-YEAR-OLD, ASIAN STRIPPER, Tura Satana [STAR OF "Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!" Russ Meyer, 1965], WHOSE CLAIM IT IS, ACCORDING TO P.D. IN PDB'S BOOK, IN INTERVIEW [DETAILS ARE NOT STATED?], THAT TURA TAUGHT ELVIS THE FINE ART OF KISSING AND CUNNILINGUS OVER THE PERIOD OF A FEW WEEKS? MONTHS? [THERE ARE ALSO DETAILS ON THE SIZE OF "L'IL E"].

[*on some of this information, i'm inclined to agree with 'groupie blog;' not so much from the incorrect spelling, but from the extremely common PR practice of "retrospective sex-linking," usually used by non-celebrities, seeking publicity--certainly not the case here [although PDB's cum-well must be running dry]; however until, i can prove otherwise, i'm giving Tura, P.D & PDB the benefit of the doubt]
Andy Warhol Interview Magazine, April 1973
"Patti D'Arbanville is a young actress who has appeared in three films to date: Flesh, L'Amour and La Maison, which was a critical and commercial success in France. She has been through the pop hippy scene in New York and California, the rock groupie scene in London, the chic ready to wear scene in Paris, always traveling fast and light."
INTERVIEW:
Patti D'Arbanville: There's such freedom in something like L'Amour that I just run wild. I mean, at times I was just foaming at the mouth. I haven't seen the film, just some rushes of me in the bathtub, and I was quiet for a change. I grew up on Bleecker and MacDougal. The Figaro was right across the street...I asked my mother if I could stay out until midnight...she said, 'Well, of course, it's only across the street.' Then I started going to Ondine. Then I decided to go to California with these two girls and my best girlfriend who was pregnant. We had spent all the money for her abortion on mescaline and spent three nights in a hotel with some boys freaked out on mescaline. We got $1,000 for the abortion by going up to this guy in Ondine and asking him for it...I made Flesh the...I went back to California, back to New York...Bert Stern took me to Paris to do the collections...went to London and stayed at Donald Cammell's house for a couple of months. Then I went to Hollywood to do a movie with *Nic Roeg...It was called "Deadly Honeymoon"... but it didn't work out. Jim Aubrey didn't like what Nic had done to the script...Nic wouldn't do it any way but his own..Steven wrote that song [Lady D'Arbanville by Cat Stevens] when I left for New York. I left for a month, it wasn't the end of the world was it? But he wrote this whole song: 'Lady D'Arbanville, why do you sleep so still.' It's about me dead. So while I was in New York, for him it was like I was lying in a coffin...he wrote that because he missed me, because he was down... It's a sad song.

Barbara Lynn 1966 ! True soul!
Barbara Lynn (born Barbara Lynn Ozen, later Barbara Lynn Cumby 16 January 1942 in Beaumont, Texas) is an American rhythm and blues guitarist and singer.
She played piano as a child, but switched to guitar. Inspired by blues artists Guitar Slim and Jimmy Reed, and pop acts Elvis Presley and Brenda Lee, she created an all-female band, Bobbie Lynn and the Idols.
Singer Joe Barry introduced Lynn to producer Huey Meaux. Her first single "You'll Lose A Good Thing" was a #1 R&B hit and Top 10 pop hit in 1962 and was later a country hit for Freddy Fender.
Soon Lynn was touring with such soul music greats as Gladys Knight, Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, Dionne Warwick, Jackie Wilson, Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, James Brown, Al Green, Carla Thomas, Marvin Gaye, Ike and Tina Turner, The Temptations, and B.B. King.
She appeared at the Apollo Theatre, twice on American Bandstand, and even had her song "Oh Baby (We've Got A Good Thing Goin')" recorded by The Rolling Stones.
She married for the first time at age 28 and had three children. While living in Los Angeles, occasionally appeared at local clubs. After her husband's death, she returned to Beaumont, where her mother lived, and began recording again.

ULTRA TWIST
Hey let's twist. Do the ultra twist. Stick it in and twist. Do the ultra twist. Recent movements leave one cold. It's big improvement and very bold. Hangin' ten on a shockwave. Hangin' out like the new breed say. Come on let's do it. Do the ultra twist. Jam it in and screw it. Do the ultra twist. Do the ultra twist. Just go like this. Do the ultra twist and bend the trim. The alchemists all recommend. Doin' the ultra twist-it's here to stay. Makes tomorrow look like yesterday. The ultra set now propose. Wear skintight crazy clothes. Spurs that go jingle-jangle-jing and many other shiny indementional things.

Soft Machine album
See me drivin down the street,
I'm bored with looking good.
I got both hands off the wheel,
The cops are coming.
I'm listening to the music with no fear,
You can hear it too if your sincere...
Coz I'm a punk rocker yes I am.
Well I'm a punk rocker yes I am.
Coz I'm a punk rocker yes I am.
Well I'm a punk rocker yes I am.
I see you stagger in the street,
And you can't stay on your feet.
And your faking in your sleep,
You wish that you were deep.
You can't hear me laughing to myself,
If you could you would be someone else.
Coz I'm a punk rocker yes I am.
Well I'm a punk rocker yes I am.
Coz I'm a punk rocker yes I am.
Well I'm a punk rocker yes I am.
See me die on bleaker street,
I'm bored with being god,
See me sneering in my car,
I'm driving to my star.
I'm listening to the music with no fear,
You can hear it too if your sincere...
Coz I'm a punk rocker yes I am.
Well I'm a punk rocker yes I am.
Coz I'm a punk rocker yes I am.
Well I'm a punk rocker yes I am.
Coz I'm a punk rocker yes I am.
Well I'm a punk rocker yes I am.

Umm...yea...Michiro's goal was to make it in to the mainstream and really fuck things up on a huge scale through out japan's music scene. So he did adopte a sort of Visual Kei look during the middle part of his career unlike the beging with The Stalin. It didn't work through. Hehe. Sex.

Not really though, it looks like he was just copying flamboyant new-wave artists of the west with his look and music in this era. Basically a period of being a silly arse, and I imagine he is embarassed about it these days.

Yea really. He was quoted saying that before. And all Visual Kei really was just copying flamboyant new-wave artists and adding their own twist. And I doubt a man that's thrown fish heads in to a crowd, shit on stage and run around in his undies is going to be embarassed about dressing like that. Most of his career was based on being a sill arse.

The True Meaning of Pictures
The True Meaning of Pictures addresses the issue of representation in documentary photography by examining the work of American photographer Shelby Lee Adams. This documentary seeks to spend time with the subjects of Adams work, in order to get to know them better and address the controversy and response Adams' photographs generate, which involves the politics of representation. Both strands of the film will combine to explore the larger-- and also self-reflexive-- issue of whether it is possible to "document" a community. The emotional intention is to compel viewers to move beyond voyeurism into empathy, so that by the end of the film they will feel authentically connected to people with whom they assume they have nothing in common..
