Jacko was hot in bed: Lisa Marie

  • Jacko was hot in bed: Lisa Marie
(Times of India, July 1 2009)

While the case against him for the alleged sexual abuse of 12-year-old Jordie Chandler brought out his bizarre lifestyle and love for proximity to children out into the open, no one really believed him when he insisted he had romanced girls like Tatum O'Neal or Brooke Shields.

In fact, according to extracts from a book published in a UK tabloid, Tatum told a friend: 'How can any girl have a relationship with him? When we're together, he's so shy he hardly says two words. 'I know he's a virgin. I wonder if he's afraid to have sex. He doesn't seem very interested.'

And when Michael Jackson was growing up, his mother too worried that he rarely went out with girls. As people settled into seeing the star as an eccentric, but essentially asexual, came his marriage to Elvis Presley's daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, in 1994.

Writes Randy Taraborrelli in Michael Jackson: The Magic And The Madness, Jackson's friend and confidant of 40 years, "From my conversations with both Michael and Lisa, I am convinced this marriage was not a sham. And, according to Lisa herself, Jackson was a wonderful lover. He was, she said, 'very hot' in bed."

Michael and Lisa hit it off on their very first date, at a dinner party of a mutual friend. They believed they were soulmates. Michael flirted openly, and as they talked, Lisa felt she was seeing the real Michael, the man behind the mask.

Throughout the time of his obsession with Jordie Chandler, Jackson dated Lisa intermittently and after the case began, he took her support in "long, anguished phone calls", writes Taraborrelli.

Lisa is quoted as saying, "Yes, I started falling for him. I wanted to help him, and I felt that I could." She stood by him as he spiralled into drug addiction. During one phone call, he asked how she would respond if he proposed marriage. Her reply was instant: "I would do it." ...

  • Lisa Marie Presley Says Michael Jackson Thought He Would Die Like Elvis

    (thecelebritycafe.com, June 29 2009)

The pop star's ex-wife says he always knew how his life would end.
Lisa Marie Presley, Michael Jackson's first wife, took to her MySpace blog to release a public statement regarding her feelings about Jackson's tragic death. "As I sithereoverwhelmed with sadness, reflection and confusion at what was my biggest failure to date, watchingon the news almost play by play Theexact Scenario I saw happen on August 16th, 1977 happening again right now with Michael (a sight I never wanted to see again)just as he predicted, I am truly, truly gutted," Presley said in her MySpace blog.

During a conversation she had with Jackson, the subject shifted to the tragic death of Presley's father, Elvis Presley. Presley claims Jackson told her, "I am afraid that I am going to end up like him, the way he did." "I promptly tried to deter him from the idea, at which point he just shrugged his shoulders and nodded almost matter of fact as if to let me know, he knew what he knew and that was kind of that. 14 years later I amsitting here watching on the newsan ambulance leaves the driveway of his home, the big gates, the crowds outside the gates, the coverage, the crowds outside the hospital, the cause of death and what may have led up to it and the memory of this conversation hit me, as did the unstoppable tears," Presley said in her blog.

Presley and Jackson wed in May 1994 and divorced in 1996.

  • Lisa Marie Presley's 'freaky' twins
(NZCity, Bang Showbiz, January 23 2009)

Lisa Marie Presley says having twins is "freaky". The singer - who gave birth to daughters Finley and Harper three months ago - says she and husband Michael Lockwood have struggled to adjust to the new additions to their family. She revealed: "When we brought the babies home it was a complete and utter shock. "Everything is so freaky. Are they breathing? Are they OK? They're so fragile. That freaks me out. Michael was freaked out about dropping them."

Lisa Marie - who also has two teenage children, Riley, 19, and Ben, 16, from a previous marriage to Danny Keough - says the twins are already displaying different personalities, labelling Finley "full of p**s and vinegar". She added to Hello! magazine: "Finley is a little clone of me and Harper is a little clone of Michael, looks and personality wise. Little Harper, for 'harp' is this little sweet, calm, dainty baby. And Finley, which is Scottish for 'fair warrior', is also an angel but a bit more rugged. She is ferocious, funny and full of p**s and vinegar, as they say."

  • PRESLEY FEARED POST-PARTUM DEPRESSION
    (Contact Music, January 20 2009)

LISA MARIE PRESLEY expected to experience post-partum depression following the birth of her new baby twins - and was delighted when the condition never materialised.

The 40-year-old star and her husband Michael Lockwood welcomed daughters Harper and Finley in October (08). The girls are Presley's third and fourth children, and her first two with Lockwood. Presley is also mother to Danielle Riley, 19, and Benjamin Storm, 15, from her first marriage to Danny Keough.

And Presley admits that prior to the birth, she was convinced she would suffer from some form of depression when the girls arrived - because looking after twins is such hard work.

She tells Hello magazine, "I was expecting to go into some severe post-partum land. I was waiting for it to hit me. I had a couple of episodes of crying but they weren't unfounded. I'm glad it didn't actually get me. Everything is so freaky. 'Are they breathing? Are they OK?' They're so fragile. That freaks me out."
